Some people of you might be aware of who an Iyanifa is and their role, but for those of you are wondering what does an Iyanifa mean or what do they do?

Iyanifa simply translates to mother of mysteries. An Iyanifa is a female equivalent of a Babalawo. In Ifa the role of an Iyanifa is to divine to ascertain issues and provide lasting solutions, based on IFA's wisdom. An Iyanifa is there to provide wisdom and guidance. They are tasked by IFA, with the duty of improving the existence of human lives, providing advice based on IFA's wisdom. Simply put they as mothers of the mysteries are there to provide ongoing support and guidance, to ensure you achieve purpose and that your dreams in accordance with your Ori becomes a reality.
